Transfer Station
Welcome to the Joint Transfer Station for Geneva Township and South Haven Township, operated by Best Way Disposal.
LOCATION:
County Road 384, North side of road
1 mile East of Maple Grove/M-43
OR
1 mile west of the 68th Street and County Road 384 intersection.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Saturday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Summer Hours (April-October)
Tuesdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Closed on Holiday Weekends - Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's
Transfer Station Pass
Residents of Geneva and South Haven Townships require a Transfer Station Pass for free dumping and recycling. Those without showing a Pass will be charged for dumping and recycling.
Transfer Station Passes are included in resident's December Tax Bills. If you do not receive a tax bill please call the Township Hall for a pass
Waste & Recycling
We accept normal household waste ONLY. Contractors cannot dispose of materials at the Transfer Station. Recycling is free with a Geneva or South Haven Transfer Station Pass. Others will be charged.
Brush and grass clippings can also be dropped off at no additional cost.
Fees
The township subsidizes the operation of the Transfer Station. Residents pay 25% of the cost and the townships cover 75%. There is a charge for using the facility.
