TOWNSHIP TREASURER’S STATUTORY DUTIES

                                • Collects real and personal property taxes 

                                • Receives receipts for township expenditures                                                  

                                • Deposits township revenues in approved depositories

                                • Invests township funds in approved investment vehicles

                                • Collects delinquent personal property tax

                                • Collects mobile home specific tax

                                • Shall appoint a deputy who will serve to assist the treasurer

                                           -possess the ability to perform duties of treasurer in case of sickness or death. 

                                • Shall post a surety bond
